CQI Q Processing Level 2 is an advanced, official Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) training program designed for coffee professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in post-harvest coffee processing and quality control. This intensive program builds upon the foundational knowledge gained in Q Processing Level 1, focusing on advanced processing techniques, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making to improve coffee quality and consistency.
Participants will explore advanced wet and dry processing methods, fermentation management, drying systems, defect identification, yield calculations, and the impact of processing decisions on cup quality. Through a combination of classroom learning, hands-on field practice, and sensory evaluation, this course equips participants with the skills needed to design, evaluate, and optimize processing protocols at origin.
This class will be held at Simalem Coffee Academy, Merek, Sumatra, Indonesia, and will be coached by Johan Kwe, a certified Q Processing Instructor, Q Processing Expert, and Q Arabica Grader, with extensive experience in coffee processing and quality assessment.
